Each year, thousands of workers come to Canada from other countries to work seasonally. They’re typically hired through the Seasonal Agricultural Worker Program (SAWP) or the Temporary Foreign Worker Program (TFWF) and they are crucial to Ontario’s horticultural sector. Without them, we wouldn’t have access to the fruits and vegetables that we enjoy. In this video, you’ll meet some of the workers from Jamaica, the Ukraine and Thailand that work in an Ontario greenhouse.
